SafeHands LLC (“SafeHands,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the MySafeHands mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our App.By using SafeHands, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information You Provide
When you use SafeHands, you may provide the following types of information:
Account Information: Name, email address, and password when creating an account.
Health Profile Information: Medications, appointments, vital signs, allergies, vaccinations, dietary needs, respiratory support details, assistive devices, and notes that you choose to enter for yourself or someone you care for.
Care Circle Information: Names, email addresses, and phone numbers of people you invite to your Care Circle.
Contacts: Names, phone numbers, and other details of healthcare providers and emergency contacts you add.
Care Updates: Messages and updates you share within your Care Circle.
Information Collected Automatically
Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version.
Usage Data: How you interact with the App (features used, pages visited).
Authentication Data: Login timestamps and session information.
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, maintain, and improve the App
Enable care coordination features such as Care Circle sharing
Send important service-related communications
Ensure the security and integrity of your account
Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your health information for advertising, marketing to third parties, or any purpose unrelated to providing the App’s services.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase and Firestore, which provide encryption in transit and at rest.
Access to your data is controlled through authentication and permission-based access levels within the App.
We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
SafeHands uses the following third-party services:
Google Firebase: Authentication, data storage, and hosting.
RevenueCat: Subscription management and payment processing. RevenueCat does not have access to your health data.
Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For app distribution and in-app purchases.
These services have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or health information to third parties.We may share information only in the following circumstances:
With your Care Circle: Health profile data is shared with people you explicitly invite and grant access to.
Service Providers: With third-party services listed above, solely to operate the App.
Legal Requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process.
Access and Update: You can view and update your information at any time through the App.
Delete Your Account: You can delete your account through the App settings. This will permanently remove your account and associated data.
Manage Care Circle Access: You can remove members from your Care Circle or leave a Care Circle at any time.
SafeHands is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected]
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
